Buckwheat Cocoa Crepes

 

Here we are. Buckwheat crepes with cocoa.

I grew up eating crepes. That’s our traditional classic desert, easy to make, not too expensive and made of ingredients we all have in our homes. Flour, eggs, milk / water and that’s it.

I modified the old good one and made Vegan, gluten free, sweet version made of buckwheat flour and cocoa 🙂

Really Yummy and nice as dessert to offer to your guests, to surprise them how vegan and gluten free can be delicious too.

Buckwheat Crepes

 

Easy to make and so easy to enjoy it.

Those are filled with dark vegan chocolate cream.

What I love about Buckwheat Cocoa crepes is that they are not too sweet, so when you filled them with chocolate and top with fruit its just perfect combination.

Buckwheat Cocoa Crepes
Instructions
  1. Combine all dry ingredients and then add water little by little and whisk together with mixer until you make smooth batter
  2. Then heat nonstick skillet on over medium temperature, and brush the skillet with little olive oil or coconut oil or any other you have
  3. Then make crepes by adding batter with kitchen ladle, you will figure out if it's going to be full ladle or half of it depending on size of your skillet. Crepes need to be not to tick not to thin. I usually use half of ladle
  4. Pour batter into pan, lift pan and spread so the bottom of the pan is covered with batter and cook bottom around 1 minute and then with spatula and finger flip over crepe and leave other side to cook 30 s-1 min. You don't want them burned
  5. When the crepe is done, put on plate and bake all crepes in same way till you use all batter you have
  6. After you are done with baking, on skillet put 1/2 dark or vegan chocolate and heat up until it gets melt, add sprinkle of coconut oil and pour little of coconut milk to get nice, smooth texture of creme.. Remove from heat and spread crepes with this chocolate creme and add banana to each crepe.
  7. Fold crepes, top with some fruits, and enjoy!!!!
