Chocolate Cake loaded with Jam

This is one of my favorite desserts from childhood, easy to make from ingredients we all have at home.

The original recipe is made of white flour, but I found option to feel less guilty when I eat it 🙂

Vegan Chocolate Cake with Jam

I made it as vegan version.

Instead of white, I have used rye flour, but whoever is allergic on gluten, can substitute with some other gluten free flour.

It’s great with coffee.

Vegan Chocolaye cake with Jam
Instructions
  1. Mix all dry ingredients and then add water and oil
  2. At the end add 2 spoons of jam. 1 spoon leave on side for top of the cake
  3. After you made batter, preheat oven on 410 degrees
  4. I used cheesecake pan 9 inch and butter pan, dust with flour and tap out excess
  5. Bake for about 20-25 min, you can check with toothpick, insert in cake and needs to came out clean
  6. When cake is done, spread 1-2 spoons of jam over hot surface
  7. In saucepan put chocolate dark or vegan and 1 spoon of coconut oil, and let it melt.
  8. Spread chocolate cream over the top of the cake, over the layer of jam and put in fridge to cool
